Winner of many awards at world festivals, including the Silver Lion at the 74th Venice International Film Festival and Israeli candidate for the Oscar, which found itself on the so-called shortlist, in the category of the best foreign language film.
This is a German-French-Israeli co-production according to the scenario of the director with the Polish passport Samuel Maoz, telling in an unusual and surprising manner the drama of the Israeli family in the face of the son's death.
IN CINEMA FROM 7 SEPTEMBER 2018
One day, an ordinary Israeli marriage, Michael and Daphna Feldmanns are devastated by unexpected news. At the doorstep of their home, military police appear and inform about the death of their son Jonathan while serving at a nearly deserted military post. Over time, Michael is becoming increasingly frustrated by the endless visits of an army of relatives and bureaucrats making insincere condolences. While his wife is mourning in peace and quiet, Michael falls into a spiral of anger, which takes on increasingly absurd proportions - analogous to his son's surreal experiences of war ...
The starring Israeli actor Lior Aszkenazi, the star of the well-known black comedy "Big Bad Wolves", one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite films, plays in the leading role.

Znakomity film! Zobaczcie!
Fantastyczny film!
